Dr. Caullychurn graduated in MMed Paediatric and Child Health and is UKZN APFP’s first graduate. Dr. Caullychurn said “Due to financial constraints and unforeseen expenses, had I not been helped by AFPF I would not stand as a paediatrician today. In my country most consultants are now ageing and a lot of new specialists are being trained in China where unfortunately due to language barrier, training is not as good as in South Africa. I am now a trained Paediatrician and on day to day basis offer help to my community and train my interns to see Paediatrics with a broader view.” Congratulations Dr. Caullychurn.
